Perfect Husband, Grandma, Guest safe Horse. Would be great for Therapeutic Riding. Approx 15 years old, 17.2 hands tall Belgian Gelding.
This guy has such a great head on his shoulders, and he always takes care of his rider. He is a one of a kind with such a quiet and sweet demeanor. Still needs to gain some weight but that will happen over time.
In the barn, Harley never causes trouble. He has good stall manners with no bad habits. This boy is a gem to handle and be around. He stands to be groomed and tacked up patiently. He has never been pushy with us and has always been easy to handle on the ground. He’s good for the farrier, and the Vet. He can be turned out with mares or geldings and gets along well with everyone. This special horse is as sweet as he is cute.
On the trail, Harley has tons of miles and absolutely nothing phases him. He can be used as a guest and he will always take care of his person without a second thought. We never have to worry about Harley. He’s extremely easy going and will lead the group bravely or happily mosey along in the back. This brave boy will cross water, and step over logs without any problems.
We have exposed him to many different things and he takes everything in stride. Harley is used to the tarp and smoke bombs, as well as heavy equipment and traffic. He never bats an eye and has the same temperament the whole time.
Under Saddle he has comfortable gaits. He will walk/trot/lope when asked but he has more whoa than go and prefers on the long rein all day if that’s what you want him to do.
This boy has not disappointed us one bit. He is Husband/Grandma/Guest safe. The perfect horse for the entire family! He would also make a great therapy horse. Harley passed his vet exam, had his feet trimmed and is up to date on everything. He is ready for his new home.
