Meet Harley!
Harley is a 14.2hh (should mature to 15hh) 2yo red dun gelding with chrome, he can be registered with the AQHA but I haven’t sent in the paperwork because he’s a gelding and really don’t see the use for them.
I can’t say enough good things about this colt. And honestly the only reason he’s for sale is that he’s a gelding and I really don’t need another mouth to feed. We have had him here for the past year or so, we lightly started him and let him grow up some more. He needs to grow and I don’t want to overdo it by riding too hard too soon. He has a good start and is super quiet in the walk, trot, lope. We pull him out every once and a while and ride him if we need an extra horse and he’s the same horse every time but we are not riding him hard and often. We have had kids on him bareback in a halter and he walked quietly with them in tow.
He’s the first horse to come to you in the pasture, sweet and kind. Loves attention and people. No vices.
Easy to do everything with, ties, loads easily, gets along with other horses well and is a super no drama gelding in any instance. He is so willing to please!
Videos are from his first time on the trail and first time being rode out of the arena. He also hasn’t been worked or ridden in around a month and we saddled him up and stepped on in the cold, no lunging ….he was literally perfect while the other horse he was riding with was being a complete psycho(prancing, spooking, and jigging). Harley literally walked quietly the whole time! Crosses water, bridges, walked right next to traffic, bikes, pedestrians and dogs. He acted like a seasoned trail horse.
He also never spooked once at all the crazy props we threw his way, was curious and had a “whatever, I’m just happy to be involved attitude" ?
I adore this colt, and I think he would be suited for an advanced beginner wanting to learn how to finish their own working with a trainer or a handy kid.
He’s so smart and such a joy to be around. We want the best possible place for him to go. For more info give us a call or text!
