Meet Hank!

Excellent western trail horse for any level rider... he is very forgiving, does not get offended by a heavy hand, and takes a joke really well. Hank is more whoa than go and he is the same whether he's ridden daily or once a year. He prefers a little treat before he will let you catch him, but this improves quickly if he is fed meals indoors. Hank has the mildest temperament and is safe on trails alone or in a group. He gets along well with any other mild mannered horse, but may allow himself to be bullied if turned out with a more aggressive horse. Hank is an amazing babysitter for weanlings and yearlings and assumes the big brother role willingly. Hank is a favorite here as a "husband horse" but he prefers a more easy going lifestyle than our hunter jumper barn allows. However, he would make an exceptionally safe beginner western lesson horse. He's a big boy, cleans up really nicely, and is a very easy keeper. He does have one tear duct that requires an inexpensive triple ointment drop a few times a week and sunblock on his nose in the summer, but otherwise Hank is perfectly sound and ready to go watch the leaves change on the trails with his new family!
