Gorgeous Young Palomino QH Gelding for sale in Michigan

Tucker is a beautiful AQHA registered palomino and is a super sweet, "in-your-pocket" kinda guy looking for a job to do. Registered name is DJR Zans Highbrow. He has great ground manners and will W/T/C easily under saddle. Great on the trails as a leader or follower, has no spook in him, and will go through any trail you point him at. Currently trail/road ridden 1-2 times a month. He is a young fella and full of energy, so I typically lunge him before each ride. I'm sure if he was being ridden more consistently that he would do just fine hopping right on and going for a ride. We picked him up in hopes that we would soon be moving to a home with a larger pasture, but our plans fell through and we are now forced to board him. We are short on time and money and aren't able to give him the life he deserves.

We rescued this young guy from a bad situation in NC last fall. He came to us with a previous injury to the left rear stifle, but that injury was fully healed when we purchased him and he is fully sound. Comes with a vet check, including x-rays. However, because of his past injury, I wouldn't feel comfortable sending him somewhere where he will be ridden into the dirt. He would be good on cows, trail riding, road riding, or for 4-H. He is happy and healthy and looking for someone to give him the time he deserves. We picked him up for $3,500 just to get him out of a bad situation, and am not looking to make my money back. Simply looking to find him a home where he will be loved and given a job. The price is $1,800 obo. We would prefer to keep him with the other horse we rescued him with - a 25-year-old Percheron gelding named Randy who rides and drives (also listed on this site). He's in great shape for 25 and is still able to do W/T and drive. If they go to the same home, we will send them with all of the hay in our barn - roughly $1,000 worth of hay.
