VALENTINE SASSY BLUE aka Pooks, is a 4 year old, AQHA registered, Blue Roan mare. She is 94.60% foundation bred and we are getting her registered with the FQHA now. She is 14.1 hands, easy on the eyes and built like a brick house. Pooks has an amazing temperament and is very easy to get along with. She has the best ground manners you could ask for. She is very easy to catch and will meet you from anywhere in the pasture. Stands quiet for a bath, grooming, fly spray, tacking, mounting and for the farrier. She will lunge both ways with ease and correctly. Pooks has a super cute jog and a slow lope, good stop and back. She has a pretty good neck rein and is starting to move off of leg pressure. She trail rides great with others and will ride out alone if asked. Has crossed water, ditches, bridges, up/down hills, logs, and doesn’t bat an eye at traffic. Loads great in the trailer and hauls quiet as well. She will make someone a wonderful trail partner. We show by appointment only.
