Ken is a gorgeous GOLDEN palomino gelding standing 15 hands tall and is the perfect age of just 8 years old . He’s calm, cool and collected all day . Ken is the SWEETEST dude and has that perfect old soul attitude that always just wants to please . This guy will be your BEST FRIEND! Ken has dabbled in a little bit of everything from checking cows and fences to hitting the trails. He is fancy fancy with his gorgeous blaze face and two white hind socks and his stout build he is for sure going to get you noticed wherever you are and everyone will be talking about how gorgeous he is. Ken LOVES to mosey down the trails from the Fort Worth Stockyards on a busy Saturday afternoon with crowds of people coming up to love on him and take pictures with , loud bands, horse carriages and TONS of traffic he handles it all with ease. He is a blast to ride out down the quiet trails as well, he’s been rode all over numerous state parks from Texas to Arkansas. He has seen many wildlife out on the trails and is used to it all. He will walk down the trail low headed, he will cross down logs, goes through brush and crosses water with no issues at all. Ken is one you can walk out catch and jump on bareback and go for a nice relaxing stroll on. He will walk trot and lope circles in the arena. He has been hauled to many different arenas and out to MANY different areas to trail ride as well so hauling him out won’t be an issue. He is user friendly for the WHOLE family to enjoy. Ken is one of our FAVORITES to pick if we want to just go on a relaxing ride. He’s very laid back and always goes with the flow. He’s not one that needs rode everyday and worked hard to stay gentle. He’s currently turned out in a pasture with 3 other geldings and gets along great but he can also be stalled. Hes an easy keeper and no maintenance needed. Ken stands tied quite, stands for the farrier and stands for bathes. Hes easy to saddle and bridle. He loads and unloads off the trailer. I just know his new family is going to enjoy him as much as we have.
