Meet Sparrow a 3 year old Black Tobiano Spotted Saddle Horse Gelding standing a stout 15 Hands Tall. Sparrow has been started correctly and has began training with flexing & working off leg pressure along with a method of training called Liberty where you build a strong bond with your horse working on the ground, We have also put a lot of trail miles on Sparrow he will cross creeks and logs with no hesitation. With Sparrow only coming 4 years old he will need an experienced rider to continue his training, he’s only started with that being said Sparrow has the complete potential to be a horse safe for any level rider some day! Sparrow is an intelligent horse you always have the pleasure of working with he improves with every ride, we have introduced him to several new things and he takes to them so natural!

Sparrow will make someone a lifetime trail partner he is a smooth gaited, sure footed trail horse deluxe he will pick his way through rocks going down a hill & when you come out to a cleared path you can give him a simple nudge or “smooch” & he will transition from a flatfoot walk to his smooth running walk gear, Sparrow is an absolute dream to trail ride he’s not pulling against the bit wanting to hurry & get back to camp he enjoys being out on the trails doing his job! Sparrow is the first one to meet you out in pasture & he’s low on the pecking order. Sparrow stands to be mounted from the ground, he will load & unload on a trailer or back off a a slant load trailer. Since being with us Sparrow has been trained with professional natural horsemanship methods, he will listen to all voice commands. We have personally trail ridden Sparrow several miles in trails It doesn't get too steep or rough he will cross/go anywhere you point his head without any hesitation crossing downed trees cut up, water, mud puddles, ditches & the rocky steep terrains that we have here in Southeastern Kentucky, while still being sure footed & takes his time with every step completely trusting the rider to guide the way! Has been ridden along the country roads around our home where he has encountered farm equipment, other livestock running alongside the road(cows, horses, goats jumping around), dogs running out barking, loud vehicles passing, ATV's. Well behaved taking baths, tacking up, loading & unloading in a trailer, being shod (has 4 new kegs all around).

We spend time with our horses training them with natural horsemanship methods creating a human animal relationship with respect and trust from our horses!

* Of course NO bad habits/vice we have ever seen out of her(rearing up, kicking, bucking, biting, barn weaving, cribbing or barn/buddy sour) These type of issues with horses never make it to our program! I can go on all day talking about this horse, he’s honestly a rare find and a true gentleman that is only coming 4 years old & already had so much training with a willing attitude he’s definitely a once in a lifetime horse!
