Five yr old registered Mare. Peppernickel has been ridden for the past year by a retired professional performance horse trainer so she is well broke. It is now our hobby and we like to ride one or two young horses until they are trained for at least year.
Peppernickel’s daddy is Southern Sunrise Hotrod. He has been a leading sire for two years in a row. His daddy is the world famous Southern Sunrise. The only way to obtain a “Hotrod” horse is to originally purchase one from Larry Stevens, he does not breed to outside mares in order to control the quality of these horses.
Peppernickel’s full brother “Bull Dog Billy” is currently being offered on Thehorsebay as well.
Peppernickel has been ridden extensively in the Colorado mountains and organized Midwest trail rides. She clips, loads, bathes, highlines and stays in electric fences. She stays quiet and stands quietly to mount. She will pick up canter readily from a walk.
She has an extremely nice canter. Please feel free to come to try her during auction. We are on the western slope of Colorado
