Are you wanting to experience a gaited trail horse with easy access to trails? Then look no further. Daisy is available for an on site full lease. She is a 10 year old Icelandic/ Racking horse cross with some Tennessee Walking Horse mixed in. I've had her since she was 9 months old and was trained bitless up til last year. She runs on the trotty side of the gait spectrum and most commonly fox trots, though we are working on racking/tolting. She has a smooth short rocking horse canter. She has been started on the ground with a harness in preparation for a cart. Right across the street is a 3 mile trail with river crossings and obstacles. Daisy has both ridden with others and by herself on this trail.

The ideal rider will be familiar with gaited horses and the gait spectrum. The rider will be familiar with proper equitation, ie. using your eyes and seat to direct the horse, opposed to relying on the bit. Daisy can be sassy and stubborn at times, therefore will require a advanced beginner or intermediate rider.
