    10 years old

Sherman is a star in every way. He's the most laid back and easy to handle pony that I have come across. He has a very cheeky and loveable personality. Don't be put off by his age, he is a very mature pony. He is also very well put together and a chunkier Connie - previous owner bought him to do showing because of his super conformation.

Schooling: Sherman is moderately forward going but isn't silly or sharp. He does need leg from his rider without being a complete plod.

Jumping: Sherman is comfortably jumping round 70cm at home and has gone DC round 60cm out competing. He's very simple to a fence and never gets silly or strong, but he does need a push on occasion.
He's XC schooled over ditches, logs, tyres etc, through water and was very sensible. We have also jumped Sherman bareback and you can clamber on and do a round the world without him batting an eyelid.

Hacking: Sherm has been hacked regularly by my novice mum and a 13 year old girl that's been riding him in the fields and down the main road in a rubber snaffle. He's very well behaved in traffic. I happily canter him up the field on the buckle with no worries. He's been to the beach behaved brilliantly. Went into the water, stood quietly and cantered with a group of horses. We've hacked him alone and in company, however as he's still young he does prefer a mate to come with him.

Overall I think he'd make an absolutely wonderful mother/child share, for someone moving up from a smaller pony, or for someone older that is wanting to do a bit of everything. NB He's NOT going to tick the boxes of someone that's wanting a whizzy jumping pony, but if you're wanting to do lower level on a safe steed, he'll be great for you.

Good to load/shoe/catch/lives on fresh air/low maintenance
Turned out with 5 other mares and geldings. Up to date with jabs.
