Perfect on the group trails for anyone to ride! Traffic and road safe!
Great with farrier and vet. Neck reins. Moves through all gaits nicely. Super cute little head and flashy white socks to boot.
Goes through water. Has been around a camel, longhorn steer, Buffalo, all sizes of equine, ostrich, sheep/goats, dogs, cats, etc. Clean legs and sound. No maintenance needed. She plumps right up on hay.
Cute little trot, nice comfortable lope, and a great stop! Ground traveling walk makes her the perfect trail mount. She’s the perfect size and has a round little shape to her right now! Was driving trained with amish originally and was sent back up this past spring for another month refreshing. Solid demeanor and nice temperament. Good with all rider levels - intermediate young children or supervised beginner or beginner 8yo kids and up. Stands tied wherever you put her. Gets a little antsy and will call for her buddy if you leave her on a hitching post alone and take her friends away. (To be expected)
Yields and is responsive to leg pressure but also listens to verbal cues.
Catch her in a larger pasture with a couple pieces of bread… she’s very food motivated. Otherwise, in a smaller paddock, she’s no problem and will walk up to you. Perhaps, if we didn’t only catch her for riding, she wouldn’t need the bread trick.
Ridden once every couple months/more in summer and almost never in winter. My grandpa needs to downsize further with less people riding his critters, no one gets enough attention.
