Dancers Gentleman Aka “Brik” is a 2011 model Registered Quarter Horse gelding. Standing at 15 HH, Brik is a stunning Bay Roan color that will surely get you noticed. Brik is extremely broke and gentle making him an excellent horse for everyone in the family to enjoy. This gelding has truly amazed me with how much he is willing to do even if he wasn’t sure how or what to do. Brik was used as a ranch horse most of his life and has seen many miles under the saddle. He is a “been there done that” type of horse. Brik w/t/l very nicely on a loose rein both directions and all of his gaits are extremely smooth and easy to sit. He is a “more whoa than go” type of gelding which is one of the qualities that makes him suitable for almost any level of rider. He has a very nice stop from all gaits and has a smooth turn around both directions. He is excellent in big open pastures, trails, or in town. He was excellent with traffic in town and didn’t think twice about anything I asked of him. I’ve used Brik to gather calves and brought him through water crossings, there truly aren’t many things I haven’t tried with this gelding! He was absolutely incredible in the arena for me when I took off his bridle. Not very many horses stay almost completely trained when I take the bridle off in my large arena but Brik acted as if nothing had changed. This gelding is broke enough for advanced riders to have a ton of fun on like I myself have had, but he’s smooth, slow, and gentle enough that intermediate and beginner riders will also love him! Brik isn’t just excellent under saddle but on the ground as well. He stands tied nicely at the barn or the trailer to be groomed, saddled, and bathed. I’ve learned he loves baths and usually plays with the water when I give him a chance. He stands nicely to have his feet picked or shod by the farrier. Brik will load on the trailer with ease, he will follow you on or will send on as well as back off on his own. Brik gets along very well with other horses and usually sits lower in the herd. He has recently been seen by my farrier, dentist, and chiropractor and is up to date on those cares. Brik is a remarkable gelding and one I have come to love and call one of my favorites. He is going to be an excellent addition to anyone’s barn as he has been for my own.
