Utah Man Reunited With Horse After 8 Years Apart
News General Equestrian
Fargo is a sharp looking 15.2-15.3, Paint Crossbred Gelding that is painted as pretty as a picture! He is 11 years old and is a very well built horse. Fargo came to use from a family out west and he was dads trail boss horse but he had also been ridden by kids out on trails and around the ranch… hes been used to push cows, done some sorting and rode fences. Fargo is a slow and laid back type of horse that will just ease along down the trails with no hesitation. He has been camping in several states and has been ridden by all ages of beginners. We have used him for herding and catching cows. We’ve thrown a rope off of him and pulled a steer some. When out on the ranch or going down the trails he will cross creeks, ditches, logs and navigate rough rocky areas. He is safe in traffic safe whether that be trucks or cars. He has a very good handle, neckreins, will one step lope, slide stops, and backs. He has a nice jog that is smooth to ride, his lope is slow and easy as well! Fargo is one that the whole family will enjoy. He has been exposed to all kinds of wildlife such as deer or turkey or other animals like cows or dogs and will go anywhere that he is asked too. He has been rode many miles in the mountains of Eastern Kentucky and encountered every obstacle possible on the trail. He will go up or down even the steepest slopes, across deep creeks, over downed trees, and over all types of rough terrain while still being sure footed. Feel free to call me with any questions!
