Eye Catching Rope Horse

Teton was started in Wisconsin, spent his first winter of riding in a Kansas feedlot and his second winter in Oklahoma being trained as a calf roping mount. In between, he was in Wisconsin for the summers. For the past few years he was ridden in the fields and along the roads with traffic - to keep him cool while continuing his calf roping and team roping (heading) training. Riding outside of the arena is an integral part of our arena horse training program. He is very good in the box and goes to cattle and ends with a big stop. We raise the Lucky Blanton x Driftwood bloodline as it is well known at the pay window in roping and barrels. They are great on cattle and have big stops and great minds. This horse has been hauled a bit. He can handle a lot of pressure on his mind and at the horn. He is built solid with great feet and bone. Our season is slowing due to the weather and this is the time of year we begin to offer the horses we feel are okay to go into someone's hands.
