Utah Man Reunited With Horse After 8 Years Apart
News General Equestrian
Buddy is a big sweet heart, loves people, especially women and likes the dog too, not a mean bone in him, Had him for 6 years, never offered to buck. Nearly anyone can ride him. Very gentle mule. Used him in the mountains here in WY, he packs and rides. Easy to catch and load, I used to haul him in my pickup truck, he would jump right in and out. Big soft eye, loves attention, very sturdy build, big strong shoulders , good heavy bone, beautifully put together , if he was human he would look like a body builder . Not afraid of a hard days work, will go anywhere I point him, neck reins thru the sagebrush with a quick response to very light touch of the rein or leg pressure, almost as if he can read my mind. Stands still while mounting until I ask him to move out. Holds the saddle really well.Electric fence broke, hobbles and picket line broke, good camping companion. I unfortunately am getting old and since my total knee replacement have a bit of a struggle to get on him , due to his size, so after a lot of thought and hesitation I have decided to offer him for sale. Love this guy , he has been my pal for the last 6 years, that's why his name is Buddy, and has been my main source of recreation for the last 6 years. You could wear out a set of new tires on your pickup before you ever found a prettier mule. He has to go to a good home.
