Nessie is a very willing and athletic pony with English training in hunter jumper. She was purchased for my younger sister who has since lost interest in horses which is why we are selling. When we bought Nessie she was previously shown as a hunter jumper but we have not competed with her and she has not been jumped since last summer. However, she does have the training and drive to pick up where she left off with the right rider and would easily excel in other disciplines or Western practices as well. If she goes to a jumping home, I would definitely recommend a rider with some jumping experience just because she loves to go and needs a firm hand for direction but is not hot tempered. She is a very sweet mare: loads, stands for farrier, does well with other horses and even tolerates our jersey cow chewing her tail (which is why it is so short). She has had young riders on her and loves being brushed and petted. Even though we personally lean more western, our family has really enjoyed her but just lack the experience to unlock her full potential. Asking $2,800 obo.
