The Down & Out Aussie Safety Stirrup is a lifesaver when it comes to relieving ankle and knee pressure. The stirrup has a 5 degree angled down foot bed to help naturally drop those heels, while at the same time the stirrup has a 15 degree angle outward on the outside edge to help place your leg in a more stress-free position. These stirrups have a foot bed width of 5 1/4" and a tread depth of 3". The height clearance on the outside edge is 6". The clearance under the bar is 2 3/4" wide and the opening is 1 3/8" wide. The holes are large enough to easily use traditional Aussie leathers and can also be used for English leathers as well. The stirrup has a safety curve on the outside edge to also reduce the possibility of getting caught.We also have these stirrups available covered in leather to make for a more aesthetically pleasing and quieter ride.
