If anyone is looking for a bomb proof, been there, done that horse who can be ridden by both kids and adults??? Well look no further!!! Meet Derringer, our 9yr old Welsh gelding pony mix. He is 13.2hh - 13.3hh and very stout. He has been roped off of, shot off of, gone on trails, and used as a lesson horse. He will need shoes if he goes on gravel as he is a little tender footed, however, it does not effect his overall performance. We believe he was never exposed to gravel that much and just needs his feet toughen up. He does great for the farrier and rides amazingly better with shoes anyways. We are located 15 mins northwest of Leavenworth, KS near Potter, KS. We have both videos and pics of this young guy in action!!!! And yes can be ridden both in saddle and bareback for all ages. We've had as young as a 7yr old on him and as old as a 75yr old on him, which means anyone can ride them including beginners, intermediate, and advanced.
