If you are looking for a superior, handmade saddle made by SMS (Society of Master Saddlers) craftsmen, this is the saddle for you. It is, as to be expected, beautifully made and balanced. It has a pure wool serge panel, which absorbs heat and sweat better than leather. The seat on this saddle is suede, but the front three-quarters has lost its nap. (It may be revived with specialist treatment). IT ALSO FEATURES SWEPT BACK TREE POINTS which do not interfere with the horse’s shoulders.
