Crockett is a handsome, friendly, and fun Morgan gelding. From our most experienced riders to our 7 year old novice daughter, Crockett has been a joy for everyone to ride. For more experienced riders, he will ride out alone and he will move out when asked. For our daughter, he is happy to just follow the string along. We haven't found any spook in him, and he has seen everything that municipal, mountain, and ranch trails have to offer. Bikes, traffic, strollers, wildlife, cattle, goats, mules, and minis... He has done great around it all. Crockett loves going up in the mountains. He is surefooted and smooth. He crosses water, bogs, rocky terrain, and deadfall without issue. He stands well for overnight trips. He has also moved cows around on the ranch. He has excellent ground manners. He is good to saddle and bridle. He loves his pets and to be groomed.
