All horses are beautiful creatures but when you see the horse that looks like it's been dipped in gold it will take your breath away!
The horse is such a beautiful color and shines so brightly in the sun.
This breed is from Turkey and has been labeled the world's most beautiful horse by experts. The breed is called an Akhal-Teke, now one of the rarest horse breeds, which is a direct descendant of the extinct Turkoman horse that lived in ancient times.
The particular horse that you can see above looks like it’s been dipped in gold.
This breed has a stunning coat that gleams in the sunlight. In China, the horse goes by the name ‘the horse from heaven.’ This horse definitely looks heavenly.
The Akhal-Teke is a thoroughbred and they stand between 58 and 64 inches tall. They have a reputation for stamina, speed and intelligence so are often used for events, showing, racing or general riding.
The breed comes from a country where resources like food and water are scarce, so they have naturally developed to survive in these conditions, making them incredible endurance horses.
According to The Equinest, the cause of the magnificent glow of this breed is down to the unique fine and silky structure of their hair. The smoother and flatter the hair structure lies the brighter the metallic glow. The glow is designed to act as a light intensifier which is used as a camouflage in the desert. These horses are born with this golden fur.
The Akhal Teke is said to have originated from Achal, Turkmenistan and is thought to be more than 3000 years old making it the world oldest breed and first to be domesticated.
