8 Year Old Girl Gives Up Her Birthday Presents To Save Horses
One amazing little girl with a big heart gave up her birthday presents to help save horses.
8-year-old girl named Ryder has a huge passion and love for horses. Her love for horses really showed, when she did all she could to help ones who were suffering, to recover.
The little girl was inspired by a horse related movie called ‘Emma’s Chance’. Emma’s Chance featured the life-saving work of Red Bucket Equine Rescue in Chino Hills.
Susan Pierce from Red Bucket Equine Rescue said: “Our horses have suffered from abuse, starvation and often they were slaughter bound.”
Ryder visited with her parents one day from San Diego and the little girl came up with a way to help. 8-year-old Ryder not only gave up her birthday presents but she also encouraged her friends to help and donate.
Ryder said: “Red Bucket has a wish list and we bought stuff of their wish list for them.”
Ryder delivered all the items she had managed to buy with the donations in red buckets.
Susan Pierce the organization’s founder showed the little girl that her donations helped horses like Mira, who was rescued from a hoarding operation.
The pair Ryder and Mira struck up a special bond and shared intimated moments of tenderness.
Susan said: “The tenderness Ryder showed to Mira and also the way Mira responded to Ryder was really inspiring.”
