Frequently Asked Questions about Horseclicks.com

How do I register with Horseclicks?

There are two different ways to register with us. If you’d like to place a regular ad, you can do so for free on our homepage, here. Follow the prompts to upload your advertisement.

If you’re interested in a premium account, please call 786-433-7120 and speak with one of our account representatives who can help you to begin selling on Horseclicks.

What is the difference between a regular and a premium account?

A regular account is completely free to set up on Horseclicks. The premium account buys you a rotating advertisement on the homepage, top listings in your section, and the ability to “bump” your advertisement to the front of the site any time you log on.

What are the benefits of a premium account?

If you want your item to be noticed right away by buyers on Horseclicks, a premium account is the way to go. It puts you on the front page of your section and gives you exposure on the homepage, which increases the reach of your advertisement. The more people see what you’re selling, the quicker you’ll sell it.

Help! I lost my username or password!

If you can’t remember your username or password, email support@horseclicks.com to reset your information.

I registered and posted an advertisement, but now I can’t find it.

You’re registered on Horseclicks and you just posted your first advertisement but now you can’t find it. What happened? Chances are, you just need to wait a few hours for your advertisement to appear. The site needs time to update the changes you’ve made and that can take anywhere from 20 seconds to 2 hours. If after a few hours, you still cannot find your advertisement, email support@horseclicks.com for assistance with the back end of the site.

When you’re uploading your advertisement, please make sure you spell out the name of the state where you live, rather than an abbreviation. For example, if you live in Florida, please type “Florida” in the state section rather than “FL”. Many times users struggle to find their advertisements because the system doesn’t recognize the state abbreviation they’ve uploaded. This is a glitch on the site that we’re working hard to address, but until we have fixed it, you’ll need to type the entire state name in that section.

Do you control the listings on Horseclicks?

Horseclicks is a classified website, which means that we do not control the interaction between buyers and sellers. We do not take a portion of the profits from a sale, and we do not manually approve each listing on our website. We simply provide a forum for horse lovers to buy and sell their products.

It’s for that reason that occasionally scam listings are posted to the site. If you suspect, for any reason, that the seller might be trying to scam you, please call Horseclicks at 786-433-7120 ext. 201 to investigate.

How do I spot a scam?

Fake contact information like phone numbers and emails are a good tip-off that a listing might be a scam. If you suspect that a listing is a scam, please call the Horseclicks main office or email support@horseclicks.com

Help! I’ve been scammed. What now?

If you are the victim of a scam, please call your local police and then call the Horseclicks office to provide the seller account number and information. Horseclicks cannot refund your money in the event of a scam.
