Cody is a 5-year-old gelding, standing at a stocky and solid 14 hands. Cody is looking for his next best friend. His friendly personality and quiet demeanor will make you fall in love with him. He is always there to greet you at the gate and looks forward to attention.

In the arena, Cody aims to please, even bridle-less. He has an even walk and comfortable trot, and his canter is so smooth you feel like you are riding on a cloud. He has been schooling over a small course of fences and is very simple to jump around with a perfect lead change in each direction. If you prefer to ride western, he has an easy neck rein and naturally even headset.

Cody loves to trail ride, through the brook, woods, and traffic. He is steady and calm. Kid-safe, he has been ridden by children and teens and is stout enough to carry adults. We have encountered many different types of wildlife, dogs, bikers, and hikers out in the woods, and he doesn't even bat an eye. He has been extensively trail ridden alone and in groups, in new environments. He gets right off the trailer and settles in like he has lived there his entire life.

Around the farm, Cody is simple and easy to care for. He truly likes people and is tolerant and willing to engage in playful shenanigans of all kinds, including balls and tarps and silly tricks, just for fun! He has incredible barn manners and has no vices. He enjoys being turned out with others but is also happy to go out alone. He requires no maintenance or special care.

Cody sells sound, has recent X-rays and PPE, recent shoes, and dental records. He is gentle and quiet to catch, tack up, stands for mounting and dismounting, ties or cross-ties anywhere, is comfortable in a stall and pasture, hauls like a pro, and is super about new places and situations. He loves to be bathed, groomed, clipped, and fussed over. Cody is patient and wonderful for the vet, farrier, and dentist.
