Smoke’s Cobalt Prism “Smokey” is a well-built, 16hh, 6 yr old, chocolate, gelding with a flax mane and tail!!! Smokey has a very smooth running walk gait, and he can speed up to 12 mph if desired. In addition to gaiting, he has a super smooth short lope/canter. Smokey is easy to catch, clip, bathe, load, and handle. He will flatfoot walk on a loose rein as long as you like, or he can move on out if you ask. He has been ridden around farm equipment and ATVs. He willingly goes over large, noisy tarps, and has also had guns shot off of his back. On the trails, he is always great! Smokey has been exposed to all kinds of wildlife such as elk, deer, and turkey. He is also great around other animals like cows or dogs. Smokey is very willing and will go anywhere that he is asked to. He has been ridden many miles in the mountains of Eastern Kentucky, Tennessee, and Colorado and encountered every obstacle possible on the trail. He will go up or down even the steepest slopes, across deep creeks, over downed trees, and through all types of rough terrain while still being sure-footed. He has been ridden in traffic and is very safe around cars, semis, log, and dump trucks. Smokey has also gone through fast-food drive-thru’s. He has a great attitude and does great with children.
