Cherokee is an 8 year old flashy red and white paint mare. She stands 14.2 hands tall and has a nice old foundation, stocky build to her. We used her at Cook Forest Dude Ranch and I have guided rides and trail rode her all over the mountains . She’s an excellent trail horse. She loves to trail ride and will go anywhere you point her on the trail without hesitation . If you have been looking for that proven, been there done that, as close as possible to bombproof trail horse, then here she is. She has miles and miles under her belt on the trails. She is very sure footed on the rough terrain. She has great feet and can be ridden without shoes if you wish. She has great ground manners, good for the farrier and stands good to be bathed. She is very friendly and is the kind of horse that is easy to bond with. She is quiet and gentle and safe to ride but is also fun to ride. Safe enough for an older kid to ride but fun enough they won’t get bored on them. She is stocky enough to carry any size rider but also small enough making her easy to get on and get off her.
