“Charlie” is a 16.1hh, 11 coming 12yr old, Thoroughbred gelding. Charlie is a unicorn, grandma safe, husband sized, quiet and lovable, what more could you ask for? This boy is an amazing all around horse!

In the barn, Charlie has no bad habits. He can live in, or out, and goes out with a mixed herd with no drama. He will stand on the cross ties to be groomed, bathed, tacked, etc. He is a very sweet boy with a chill, laid back personality.

Charlie rides western, english, and bareback. He is a more whoa than go type of guy, but you don’t need a crop and spurs to get him moving. He has very comfortable, easy gaits.

On the trails, this boy will go anywhere! He takes amazing care of his rider, and absolutely anyone can ride him. He will lead, follow, go alone, and in groups. He goes where you point, or will walk behind on the buckle and follow the horse in front. He is not spooky at all. He doesn’t mind rowdy dogs running all around him or running beside him. Charlie crosses logs, water, rocks, and takes care of his rider when obstacles come up. Trail rides are super fun and relaxing with Charlie!

In the ring, Charlie will w/t/c and pop over fences. He is gentle and kind, and he can certainly take a joke. He will ride on the bucket in every gait, and he has a good whoa button. He is the same horse every ride, whether he has been sitting, or ridden yesterday.

Charlie loads right up into the trailer and hauls quietly. He is the same horse off property as he is on. He is an easy keeper, no maintenance or supplements, and has good feet. Charlie is ready to take care of his next rider. For further information please reach out!
