Meet Big Ben!!

“Big Ben” is a 16.3hh, 15yr old Belgian gelding who has done just about anything you could think of. This gentle giant is safe for anyone and as sweet as could be. He is used to loads of attention and has an amazing personality.

In the barn Ben has no bad habits. He will stand around all day long on the cross ties to be groomed, bathed, pampered, etc. Ben can live in, or out, he doesn’t care either way. He is a baby sitter in the pasture, and not dominant. He is the first one to walk up to you every morning. Ben is good for the vet and farrier as well.

On the trails he will lead, follow, go alone, and in groups. He is a slow, easy going boy that can take a joke. He is not spooky and crosses water, logs, rocks, etc. You could throw your husband or grandmother on him and know that they will be safe. He is safe with dogs, bikes, traffic, machinery, etc.

Ben rides english, western, and bareback. In the ring he will w/t/c and you don’t need to use a crop or spurs to get going. He is a safe, slow ride, with amazingly smooth gaits. I purchased Ben a year and a half ago, and for the last year he has been traveling as a jousting horse. He has been exposed to a lot, such as guns, loud noises, crowds, and much more. This boy is a one of a kind horse. If you are looking for safe, Ben is your boy.

Ben also drives single and double, and has worked in the fields previously in his life.

He is an easy keeper all around. This sweet sole is ready to find his forever home, and take care of his next person. He is loved by many, and he is always the barn favorite.
