Homer is a 9-year-old buckskin/dun john mule with a loving disposition. He stands 14.1 on the stick. We have known him for three years and owned him the last two. Homer is being offered for sale by no fault of his own. This mule has experiences of every kind. He has traveled from Texas to Arkansas to Pennsylvania. He has been extensively trail-ridden through all kinds of terrain and confidently navigates through thick woods and deep waters. He will ride in company or by himself and easily competes in trail competitions. Homer moves off your leg, side passes, neck reins, and is soft to the bridle. Homer was taught to lay down to mount and dismount, but will also stand to get on and off. Point his nose, and he will do just as you want. With his “get to work” attitude Homer works cattle, opens gates, plows fields, pulls carriages, ponies race horses, and flags babies. He also gives beginner and intermediate riding lessons.
