Belle has gone through the fundamentals level of the Natural Horsemanship Methods. She knows how to lung on a line and in the round pen, knows many desensitizing exercises, backs, yields, etc. Belle stands to be tied, stands for the farrier, to be saddled, mounted, clipped, bathed, etc. She is responsive to leg pressure, ques, etc. She has nice haunch turns, she is soft and responsive in the bridle, and neck reins well. We are currently working on better stops and flying lead changes- which she has picked up on quickly. She is not spooky but pays attention to her surroundings. She definitely has the athleticism and ability to be a very nice Ranch Show Horse.

She is currently in training and being finished for Ranch Horse Shows. She was taken to her first ranch horse show in the beginning of December and she was 5th/6th out of 18/20 horses in the classes! I have also worked cows off of her, done ranch work, and trail rode her for miles. She loves exploring and being out on the trail. That being said, she is forward and adventurous, not a lazy trail horse. I have also taken her to an eventing course (just for fun to see what she would think) and she LOVED it! She is a natural jumper and took to it like a natural- no balk or refusal and looked like a pro!

Belle was previously used as a lesson horse and has a tendency to take advantage of very beginner riders, so she has now been given a working job! That being said, I would recommend her for an Intermediate level rider.

Belle is UTD on all shots, coggins, wormer, farrier, etc.
