Barrel Racing Prospect for sale in Virginia

I have been back and forth on selling this gelding but I have finally decided that it is time. 5 year old, grade, quarter horse bay gelding., standing at around 14.2-14.3 hh. Wears our ranch brand on his left hip. Super quick, smart , and willing. I've been really focusing on the pattern with him and he is currently loping through but needs to be polished off and hauled. One hand neck reins, sliding stop, backs, steps off into correct leads from a walk. Will work as long and as hard as you need him to. This gelding has got the drive, the heart, the foundation, and the speed to excel. Will need a confident rider who has experience with young and quick horses. He likes being ridden by someone who knows what they are doing. Stands tied to the trailer or in the cross ties. Bathes and fly sprays. Easy keeper and currently barefoot on an 8 week trim schedule. Teeth floated this spring, current coggins, current vaccines and dewormed correctly. On 24/7 turnout with multiple other horses and donkeys. Loads and hauls easily. He is priced at the mid four figures but would like to trade for something around the same age and caliber just need them to be taller. Located in Fries VA and willing to haul if needed.
