This is a superb piece of equipment that is on almost every saddle in the outback. In the bush, people working cattle in hot, harsh climates do not drink cold water due to the possibility of making one sick. if your body is hot, instead they drink hot liquids, tea being the preference. This is done because if you take in hot liquid on a hot day, your body the tries to to cool itself down. So the Quart Pot is used to make tea or can be used for cooking as well. This leather carrier can also be used to carry an assortment of items including water bottles for those of us not working cattle in the Australian Outback.
This listing is for the Leather Carrier ONLY, the Quart pot is not included in this listing.
