AQHA Champagne Dun Mare. “Sister” is a well bred 15-2” tall creamy champagne dun mare with a brown dorsal down her back and tail and some primitive markings on her legs. 6 years old. Sound in every way. This mare can fly across the pasture flip around and meet the rest of the horses halfway back. She is super smart and very agile. We’re both in our mid 70s so we can train her. With her unusual color, height, and speed she can go into several performance disciplines. We bought two of these champagne dun sisters when we bought their sire who is also a Champagne Dun. He is homozygous black and homozygous dun. The two sisters had never been handled due the previous owner having a serious truck wreck that forced him to sell most of his horses. We could not breed them back to their sire so we left them open. We decided to halter break this sister and work with her. She’s now halter broke, loads, trailers, and we had her checked today. The vet said she was cycling and has no breeding issues for the coming season. She is N/N on her papers and 5 panel clear by both parents.
Great pedigree top and bottom. Pictures of her sire and grand sires are also shown. Located in East Texas
