AQHA Bay Roan Gelding – 8 Years Old – 16hh – $1,500 for sale in Florida

Looking for a kind soul to give this sweet boy a fresh start!

We were told he is an AQHA-registered gelding, approximately 8 years old, but have not looked or trackeddown that info. He is being sold as grade.

His sad story: After his previous owner passed away, he was left to fend for himself for a few years. When we got him about eight months ago, he was in rough shape—underweight and untrusting. Between a 1&2 body score. Since then, he has made an incredible transformation. His body condition has greatly improved, and he has started to come out of his shell.

He stands around 16hh and is a bay roan with a few old, but healed wounds from his past. He gets along well with my cows and other gelding, and he had a strong bond with my mare before we recently lost her. I see some natural cow sense in him. My yappy heeler does not bother him at all. Not trailer shy. We have had him trimmed with the farrier.

He has a very sweet personality and truly wants to please, but I don’t think I’m his person, despite my best efforts. He deserves someone who can continue to bring out the best in him.
