Utah Man Reunited With Horse After 8 Years Apart
News General Equestrian
We never broke her to ride but she weighs 400 pounds in pasture shape so could easily carry a child and saddle up to 100 pounds total weight. She is also large enough to make a good driving horse but we never took the time to train her as we had so many others to tend. We have no youngsters in our family to enjoy her and help us to train her. However, some of her offspring took immediately to being ridden without any training as some of our customers have reported. She has a beautiful face and excellent conformation. Her long mane and tail add to her beauty and she is poetry in motion when galloping across the pasture.
She would make a wonderful companion to another horse or for a human who wants a companion horse. She is dominant in our herd because she is the oldest and largest of our mares. She was one of our first minis we bought when we got into breeding miniature horses. It has been a hard decision to let her go, however, we are reducing the size of our herd and our workload, she is the last one to be selected to go to a loving new home. Three of our other broodmares have already found new homes this year. She sells open for $1500 and if we breed her to our double registered stallion, we are asking $1800 OBO. Price is negotiable to the right home.
