Description

I've done all the work you can just ride and breed this chap. I'm closing down my breeding operation or he would not be for sale. He is trained to field breed, hand breed and jump the dummy. He has been certified by Tennessee Equine to produce excellent shippable sperm. He also comes with a lot of advertising material. 2 year old photos by the famous PJ Wamble along with additional ad material also by PJ Wamble. Cody (barn name) loves people and has a splendid personality. If he sees you he comes to the gate to be petted or fed or givien a treat or two. Excellent manners unless he gets too excited. You can walk a mare in heat by his fence and he'll chortle and get excited. Remove the mare and go in to halter him and lead him to the mare and it's like she does not exist. I have had numerous stallions, a couple of which tried to kill me, but this guy has never attempted to bite, kick, or attack. You can halter a mare and take her into the pen and tell him to stand back and he will. He waits until you tell him it's okay. Cody also has a very smooth gait that he likes to show off to the mares (video coming soon) and you can ride him anywhere. If he sees something new he stops, looks and then he will move on. He has never side stepped, spun or bolted. Super disposition on this chap. I cannot say that one enough. He also produces naturally gaited off spring. Color tested to be Ee AA nd1/nd2. He has produced bay, black, sorrel, but mostly bays. He has sired at least two overos thanks to the overo mare's contribution. Buckskins as well thanks to the cream gene contribution of the mare. Cody has a line of using horses and I suspect he would do well herding cows. I've seen him do roll backs in the field. I'll answer any questions you may have and will be totally honest almost to a fault. You are welcome to come check him out, ride him or you can bring a mare to be bred. He is still entertaining mares while he looks for a new pasture.
