7 YEAR OLD SORREL GELDING **VIDEO** for sale in California

Well-built 7 year old 15 hand sorrel gelding with good bone and foot. He is put together well and built to last. Ranchero is a friendly and gentle horse that meets you at the gate and gets along well with the other horses in the pasture and is a super easy keeper. He takes his leads, has a good stop, backs with ease and will side pass over to open and close the gates as well. This horse rides quietly out in larger groups and is happy to ride in the middle of the pack with horses riding up his butt and will ride drag and not put up a fuss. He navigates the mountain trails well and is sure footed and picks his way thru the Rocky River bottom. He crosses the water, the Trail Bridge and downed timber. He is good in the traffic and is un-concerned about the bikes, cars, trucks and motorcycles whizzing on by. We have ridden him bridle-less, bare back, bridle-less and bare back and he carries the flag. The charging barking dogs we encounter are no bother to him. Before coming to California Ranchero was used on the ranch doing all the ranch chores including sorting, doctoring, gathering and checking fences. He is good to load, shoe and bathe. Stands still while mounting and sides up to the rocks for easy on and off. He has a funny personality. Stays gentle with time off. While he is un-registered, we had the vet look at his teeth and he aged him around 7 years old. 100% safe sane and sound. Sold! Sorry you missed him.
