Willy comes with Will Hanson’s stamp of approval. There aren’t enough words in the dictionary to explain how special Willy is. This gelding is a true family horse. Will has a cousin that is a total beginner and doesn’t even know how to put a halter on a horse and we trust Willy to take care of him. We let him ride Willy all over downtown Fort Worth on a Saturday night where it’s packed full of people and heavy traffic and Willy took care of him and went wherever he pointed him. Willy is the barn favorite by far. Willy is our go to lesson horse at the ranch because anyone can ride him. If you can hold the reins in your hand you can ride this gelding. Willy is the brokest crossbred we have ever seen. His lead departures are perfect, he has a huge stop, and a beautiful turn around on him. You can side pass him over to any gate to open/close it. They ride Willy all over the ranch bareback in a halter. Willy has gone on overnight fishing expeditions where he packed through the mountains. Willy is as sure footed as they make them.
