Create my profile now!He was trained to drive in an open bridle and will drive single or double and is comfortable with either side.
I've driven him much more than ridden, but he will walk/trot/canter under saddle. He's excellent on the trail and very careful going through water and over fallen trees as well as man-made trail obstacles. Has never offered to rear or buck and is happy in the front or back of the pack on the trail. He does have more "whoa" than "go" when it comes to arena riding, despite having a lovely, forward walk. He is a bit dead-sided, so leg yeilding would be a new concept for him.
Loads in the trailer, bathes really well (even his face), is good for the farrier, but needs work if you want to use clippers on his bridle path. I normally, just trim with scissors.
Can be lead around by a 5-year-old and will love on you as much as you let him.
Has a "puppy-dog" personality and is very enthusiastic to please.
