Zara is a excellent minded Friesian Sport Horse (50% Friesian x 25% Percheron/25% Morgan) She is current on shots and coggins, is sound with clean legs and excellent body condition. Coming 4 years in the spring, she currently stands 16.1h.
l bought her as a 2-year-old out of Iowa. Zara came from an Amish farm and had considerable groundwork, handling and desensitizing done with her prior to my ownership. I continued with her groundwork and started her under saddle when she turned 3 years and has been in training ever since.
Zara rides English and Western, neck reins and direct reins and rides bridleless. She has been on camping trips, multiple off-site tailrides, and even been through the local Subway fast-food drive-thru a few times. Zara is traffic and trail safe. Arena-wise, she shoulders in/out, picks up her leads, has a wonderful working and collected trot, a very smooth canter, and excellent stop/back. Zara frames up beautifully and is a pretty mover. She would excel in the dressage arena as she has the looks and movement as well as picking up flying lead changes. Due to her age and talent I'd love to see her go to someone who can continue to push her. I have currently started her on ground driving as she has the mindset to be a good cart horse as well. Zara had a oops baby this past Spring due to being left too long in the colt pen at the farm I purchased her from. She was a phenomenal mother and had no complications. Her colt one of the tiniest most adorable Friesian crosses I'd ever seen. Zara is a favorite and I truly hope she goes to a home that will enjoy her as much as we have.
