Winston is a one of a kind, drop dead beautiful draft cross buckskin gelding. He’s handsome and stands around 15.1hh. As good looking as he is on the outside, he’s even better on the inside. Winston is calm, quiet, willing, and easy going when it comes to new things. He’s been exposed to tarps, whips, plastic bags, ropes, cars, flags, little girls on segways, 4 wheelers, and everything else that might look unfamiliar to a horse. Winston is soft throughout his whole body, making him easy to ride. He has a slow lope that’s easy to ride, and a smooth little trot that’s to die for! Winston is extremely user friendly, and has been ridden by all ages and skill levels from novice to advance. He’s very forgiving of mistakes and aims to always please. He rides better than most geldings 3X’s his age. He is a true gentle and honest horse with the sweetest personality. He’s also been exposed and competed in ranch rodeos and handles himself quietly and with ease.

Whether you ride him bridle-less, bareback, western, or English, on the trail or in the arena he’s sure to catch all the gazes and glances! You’re sure to be noticed and get compliments on his beautiful buckskins looks and gentle personality.

As easy as he is to ride inside the arena, he’s also been ridden outside in the mountains and buttes in different kinds of scenery and country crossing, creeks, bogs, bridges, downfall, and handling himself going both up and downhill. Winston has also been used out on the ranch doing various ranch chores such as checking, sorting, and doctoring calves. Winston is a barn favorite and is a gelding I’d feel comfortable putting the whole family on with his kind and quiet demeanor. He has great ground manners and is incredibly patient with each rider.
