Whiskey is not only tall, dark, and handsome, but has impeccable manners and the sweetest personality. He’s the kind that everyone wants to take home and call theirs. Standing 14.2 hands, gorgeous bay with a super long mane and tail, this gelding will get attention every step he takes. Whiskey is quite versatile with a pretty big resume. He has all the reining training you could want. Whiskey is super soft in the bridle, has stylish spins, and can really stop. His speed control is impeccable and he lopes like a rocking horse. Whiskey is a finished heel horse and you don’t need to be a professional to rope in him. If you can hold you reins in one hand and rope in the other he will do the rest. He has quite the accomplishments, buckles and ribbons! Whiskey has a very elegant and classy style and I believe he would excel in western dressage. He also looks unbelievable in an English saddle. He is an excellent mover with a magnificent long trot, slow and smooth jog, and a rocking chair lope that you could ride all day. In or out of the arena, this guy handles the trail course flawlessly. Whiskey crosses logs, bridges, and jumps. He willingly side passes to to the gates and ground ties where you drop a rein. We have roped cattle on him and used him all over our ranch. He’s a kind soul that wants to be your best partner. Whiskey is 100% gentle, tolerant, and kind for a beginner, kid, or great grandma. He’s a great confidence builder that knows the ropes. He stays gentle with time off and is the same sweet and honest boy every time you saddle him. Absolutely no silly business. Whiskey trail rides like a dream and is confident alone or good in group. He’s a happy camper in all situations. He will cross running water, deep mud, thick brush, navigate through anything you ask him to. Whiskey loves attention and is easy peasy to catch in the pasture. He will walk right up to you and follow you around. He’s great with other horses in the pasture and side by side in a stock trailer. He will stand tied patiently for hours and is always respective of people and all animals. Whiskey knows some fun tricks and will lay down with a touch of a finger. He’s accustomed to crazy dogs, heavy traffic, loud gunfire, large machinery and blowing tarps.
