Trade N Tattoos aka “Sugar” is a 14.3h ApHC Roan Dun Appaloosa Mare by the World Champion Palomino Appaloosa Sire, Tattos Dun It.

You will not come across many horses with the temperment, talent, training, and not to mention FLASH that this fancy finished mare brings to the table. Sugar is just as sweet as her name, with an incredibly gentle demeanor, and a very comfortable gait. This girl is what you call GRANDMA SAFE! She doesn’t bat an eye out on the trail, or in new enviorments. You can leave her off for weeks or ride her everyday- this mare will be honest. Sugar is NOT even remotely mare-ish, and is great with other horses. She stands like a soldier for saddling, and would definently be safe for the kids groom, ride, and climb all over. She is kind, super easy to operate, and is a finished reiner AND team penner. This mare packs an impressive resume with over $8,000 in NRHA Earnings, over $3,000 in the sorting, 3 ApHC points in the senior reining, and 1.5 points in the Hackamore & Snafflebit.

NRHA Professional, Jorge Puente, with JP Performance Horses, "got her as a two year old, and in only 7 months (they) won the Level 4 Open ApRHA Reining Futurity on her” bringing home $6,388.32 from one trip to the show pen. Additionally, she won the ApRHA Level 1 Open Futurity, adding $1,804.38 to her resume. You read that right, this mare had TWO Open Futurity Championships under her belt. Jorge noted that, “she is a really great mare”. She is easy and honest to show, spin, stop, circle, change leads etc.

Sugar has been successfully shown in the level 4 open aged events in the reining, and eventually transitioned into the cow work. Team penning trainer, Carlos Eraso also noted that “she is an exceptional mare. She has won over $3,000 in the Ranch Sorting, and is very amateur friendly”. There are not a lot of horses out there that can successfully show in the reining AND cow work, but here she is! Sugar is very smooth at the walk, trot, extended trot, lope, and extended lope. She stops on a whoa, and has a very easy point and go neck rein. This mare would be an ideal fit for the Versatility or Ranch Riding Shows!

Sugar is a blast to ride outside, and is traffic, dog, and cow safe! Nothing rattles this mare! Hop on and go gather the cows, or load her up and enjoy a new trail in confidence knowing Sugar is your dependable mount! She is willfully guided in and out of the arena, and will go through and over just about anything!

Sugar is sound, with zero maitenance.

She has also had two foals in her lifetime, both of which were very colorful!

If you are looking for an honest, flashy, accomplished mare that you can take back to the show pen or just have plain fun on- Sugar is your girl!!
