Spur is a 11 Year Old Buckskin Dun Quarter Horse Gelding. He stands 15 hands tall and is stocky enough to carry any size rider. If you been looking for a super quiet all around super broke gelding then Spur is the one! My kids are 7 and 5 years old and can ride him all over. He is truly a family horse deluxe! Spur worked on a large cattle operation and carries their brand on his hip. He’s capable of performing any job on the ranch you ask him to. You can go out and work cattle all day or take him out on a family trail ride and feel safe on him. He is excellent on the trails and is very sure footed in the rough terrain. He is a been there done that all around seasoned horse. Pull his bridle off and ride him with no bridle and just a rope around his neck - he’s that broke! One of my favorite things about him is you can let him sit all winter, pull him out of the pasture, saddle him up and he will ride right off quiet and gentle each and every time. He is very friendly and loves attention. Good for the farrier and good to bathe and has excellent ground manners. You will love his one hand neck rein, side pass, head set and backup. Has a nice rocking chair lope and lopes nice circles. Ride him bareback. Slide off his butt and crawl under his belly. There's nothing that bothers him or phases him. He is solid as a rock.
