    About
Beauty is a 6 month old Blue Roan Tennessee Walking Horse Filly. This little girl is by far the prettiest and smartest foal I have ever raised! Her momma is 14.1 hands tall, and her daddy is 15.2 hands tall, so Beauty will fall somewhere in between. She is going to be a big built mare, because she has girth, a chest and nice size butt on her already. She has the gorgeous Blue Roan body, the black head, and black mane and tail, with 4 white stockings. Just pretty as a picture. Beauty is so far ahead of the game with what she already knows. As a matter of fact, she's already ahead of most 2yr olds that I come across. She has been handled constantly and daily since the minute she was born, and has always preferred human contact, even over her own mom. She has been weaned for a month, and is turned out with a Rocky Mountain mare of mine, Beauty could care less if I take my mare out of the field and leave her alone, for hours at a time. And most of the time, you find her in the upper pasture eating all by herself. She just doesn't have that need to be attached to another horses side. We have been taking her out for walks down the road and thru the woods alone since she was 3 weeks old, and she loves to go exploring. NOTHING at all scares this little girl, and she is as nosey and adventurous as can be...Beauty is always game for anything! She gaits all over the pasture with my other mare, has the softest canter, and can't take a step without nodding her head! She has been leading perfectly since she was 2 days old and standing very quietly tied since 2 weeks old. Beauty got her first bath at 1 month old, and loves it. She knows the word "whoa", when being led, and backs on command. We have trimmed and filed her hooves, and she stands with her hooves on the farrier stands with no problem. She walks across tarps very willingly, and even enjoys it! Beauty has had tarps over her back, and drug them, and has had ropes around all of her legs. NOTHING at all fazes are bother her!!! My grandson has done everything imaginable with her, and she LOVES kids. She walks right up the four steps onto our front porch, and walks back down then, crosses logs, and down thru ditches. I have used electric clippers on her to shave a bridle path, and shaved her ears, and under her jaw, and had absolutely no reaction from her. Call her name, and she comes running from wherever she is in the pasture, and she follows you all over the place. Friendly and smart as can be. When it is time to ride this girl, there is not doubt, all you'll have to do is hop on her back...she'll already know everything else. This is one VERY SPECIAL little girl, and it's beyond killing me to have to part with her. The absolute only reason I am selling her, is because I do not have another pasture to keep her in this winter. Where she is right now, there is a pond that she loves to play in. I am so scared to death that this winter when it freezes over, that she will walk out on it and fall thru. I would rather find her a wonderful home now, then have to find her in that pond this winter. I will be very discriminating where she goes, because she is the most amazing horse I have ever dealt with, whether young or old! My vet has given her all of her shots and also her booster shots, and she has been wormed on a regular schedule. Beauty gobbles up her grain, and eats off of the round bale, when she is not grazing on grass. **Shipping is available, at an additional cost. To wonderful and approved home only!
