Texas Playgun grand-daughter and Playgun great-grand-daughter.
I have had this mare since she was 10 mos. old. Started her and handled myself. Fannie was very easy to start and very smart. She actually got bored with over and over routine training. Ponied her in the mountains up until her 4 yr. old year. Saddled and worked lightly trail riding and in a bosal. Her 5 yr. old year she spent all year on the trail in the mountains and lower valley trails. She always was calm and slow on the trail, never in a hurry. Always has been barefoot and does well, always rode in a bosal an then moved up to a mechanical loose fitting hackamore. She did awesome, neck reined, trailered quiet, bathed fine, trimmed fine. Fannie has been sitting idle for the last coming up 2 yrs. I don't foresee anytime in the near future of me getting back on her due to my own health reasons. She is too well bred of a horse, too smart of a horse to waste as a pasture pet. She needs to go to someone who will bring out the best in her. She is not a fast horse and not a hard working horse. Very calm and not in a hurry about too much. Since she has been idle I would not suggest, as with any horse, that you can come try her and ride her. She will need to be refreshed which I don't see will be a prob. She does all her commands on the ground still and in a round pen. She is just sitting in dry a pasture and being fed grain/grass hay. bs! When I was riding her she trimmed down nice, kept her build. She is a Ranch Heritage Breeding Program candidate. You can look that up on AQHA webpage to find out more about that.
I am firm on price. No trades. I have a few pics only to serious inquiries. I do not have or do videos. If you are seriously interested we can talk and you can see her in person. Please no looky loos, I have been there done that. I will only sell her to high intermediate/advanced horse people only as she needs someone who knows what they are doing in refreshing a young horse and bringing them up to where they should be or someone working with a trainer. Serious inquiries only!
