Sir Cillian of Snowy Ridge AKA “Milkshake” is a 2017 registered DRUM gelding standing a firm 17HH. If you’re looking for a partner who loves to please and is a truly gentle soul, look no further than this piebald gelding that we are honored to offer. No matter your goals, preferred discipline, or riding atmosphere, Milkshake has the confidence and athleticism to make your dreams a reality. In the arena, he is an elegant mover with a canter that you can sit for hours. His smooth transitions, lead departures and willingness to work strongly support why I believe he would make a great dressage prospect. He will pivot on his haunches, stops with ease, and will back up for days. Milkshake will lay down as a party trick, or to be mounted! You can swing a rope, throw balls at him, ride next to machinery or even move cattle on this guy. Milkshake is the definition of versatility. He is truly one of my favorites to ride inside or outside of the arena. I’ve personally enjoyed many miles on the back of Milkshake through the Sam Houston National Forest, where we’ve encountered cyclist, dirt bikes and various wildlife. No matter the obstacle or terrain, Milkshake will go anywhere you point him without hesitation. He crosses all types of water, bridges, logs, and brush! He is surefooted and his main priority is the safety of his rider. He has an absolutely no buck, bite, rear or kick. He can be laid off for months, pulled out of the pasture and be ridden with no problems! We have owned him for about 7 months now and have had nothing but great experiences with him! He’s packed 12 year old and up riders around the arena, he would be best suited for a low intermediate and above rider! Milkshake has been a barn favorite for my staff and guests. He is always waiting to meet a friend at the gate or in his stall. Milkshake is at the bottom of the pecking order and gets along with just about everyone! He will stand tied for days to be loved on, groomed, and tacked. He is a complete gentleman for the farrier and the vet. He does not require any maintenance, stocks for shoeing or special feed.
