Meet Trudy, a beautiful 13-year-old Missouri Foxtrotting Mare standing at 16.1hh. Trudy has been a true family horse, ridden by every member of the family, including my 6-year-old son! We’ve taken her on countless camping trips, including to Big South Fork in TN, where she’s mastered rough, rocky trails and handles herself with ease. From steep slopes to deep creeks, downed trees, and tough terrain, Trudy remains sure-footed and reliable.
She’s also been ridden in traffic and is completely safe around cars, semis, logs, and dump trucks. If you’re looking for a smooth ride, Trudy’s true 4-beat gait is a dream for anyone to enjoy without straining your back. Not only does she have the looks, but she’s also got the moves!
