He’s a trail horse deluxe, ready to go wherever you point him—crossing creeks, logs, and even swimming. Calvin loads and unloads easily, gets along well with other horses, and is comfortable riding solo or in a group. He’s sound in every way, picks up all four feet without issue, and stands calmly for baths and the farrier. Whether riding double, bareback or using a neck rein, he handles like a dream and backs effortlessly. This dependable horse was used daily by a 90-year-old rancher for cattle work and roping.
