Gorgeous Silver Dapple Rocky Mountain Mare. This is what everyone is looking for! Allie Cat has a smooth gait and a winter coat that is deep dark chocolate. In the summer, she is a dappled princess. Her mane and tail are always a beautiful silvery flaxen. Allie is four years old and so far is approx. 14.1H. She is a Certified Registered Kentucky Mountain Saddle Horse. (her DNA and lineage show she is a full Rocky Mountain horse, but she was not allowed to be registered only because her sire was gelded before he was certified.) Allie has 120 days of professional training. She neck reins and has been trail-ridden. She walks, trots, gaits & canters, but watch how Smooth her Gait is in the videos! Allie will lead or follow on the trail, going through water, over logs, and small bridges. However, she still needs work and needs an experienced owner. Allie is a smart, nosey, in-your-pocket gal and the first to meet you at the gate. She loves to be bathed and groomed and stands for the vet but needs to be held for the farrier. She is currently shoeless but has been shod when ridden in the mountains. Allie is current on all vaccines, Coggins, and has recently been floated. Allie would also make an excellent broodmare. Her Genetic Test Report shows she is negative for the red factor and will not produce chestnuts/sorrels. She is heterozygous for the ā€œZā€ allele and carries only one copy of the Silver Dapple gene, which is generally considered healthier.

Note: Owners will not allow her to be sold to someone who will keep her as a single horse. Horses are herd animals and need a herd environment. Allie is only offered to a well-qualified buyer who can offer her a forever home.
